summer recap: the transition into fall

Summer flew by so quickly this year, and I’ve been soaking up how little refreshes around my home made such a big impact. What I love most about these pieces is that they aren’t just summer favorites, they’re timeless finds that transition seamlessly into fall. Each one has a versatile, elevated style that works season after season, and today I’m sharing how they move beautifully from summer into cooler days ahead.

breakfast nook essential: the no-shed jute rug

no shed jute rug

jute rug | white dining chair | dining chair | faux blossom branch | chandelier | pedestal | brass coffee grinder | wide cabinet | dual handled vase | oak dining table | pitcher vase | vintage stone tray | faux lemons & limes

This jute rug has been the ultimate foundation piece in my breakfast nook. Its neutral tone and natural texture work with any decor style, instantly grounding the space. The best part? It doesn’t shed, a huge plus compared to most jute rugs. It truly gives that Pottery Barn look for less, making it a timeless piece that carries beautifully from summer into fall.

year-round comfort: quince bedding

quince styled bedding

airy gauze duvet cover set | airy gauze throw | scalloped throw pillows | upholstered platform bed | warm valley wall art | silk pillow cover

I loved using this Quince duvet and throw during the summer because of the gauzy, breathable material — it kept the room feeling light and airy. What makes it even better is how easily it transitions into fall. With just a simple pillow swap to richer, cozier tones, the same bedding creates a warm, layered look perfect for the cooler months.

a bedroom luxury: the accent chair

accent chair with side table

accent swivel chair | six drawer wood dresser | area rug | similar side table | fluted vase | faux eucalyptus greenery | antique brass floor lamp | linen curtains

This accent chair from Walmart is one of my favorite finds because it looks like a high-end designer piece without the high price tag. It adds both sophistication and comfort to the bedroom, proving you don’t have to spend thousands to achieve a luxury look. I made sure to include two views of this chair in the blog so you can really see its versatility and presence in the room.

office refresh: chandelier + rug swap

home office styled space

executive desk | area rug | leather task chair | chandelier | wall art | marble decorative boxes | polystone cut-out | abstract figurines | marble book shelf lamp | gold metal boxes | gold cabinet knobs | gold drawer pulls | ruffled decor bowl |

A few subtle changes made such a big impact in my office. The woven chandelier brings in beautiful organic texture and a natural element that softens the space. I also swapped the area rug for something new, and while it was a small change, it tied the entire room together perfectly. Sometimes it’s these simple updates that give a space an entirely refreshed feel.

showstopper piece: the sideboard

This sideboard quickly became a favorite on Instagram and it’s easy to see why. With its modern rounded corners and timeless neutral finish, it’s the perfect designer look for less. Elevated yet approachable, this piece sold out once and is now restocked, making it a staple worth grabbing before it’s gone again. It’s the kind of furniture that looks stunning season after season.

summer to fall styling

rompers | belts | slouch knee high boots | pointed toe knee high boots | handbag

This romper was on repeat for the summer, paired with sandals and a raffia bag when we went on vacation. What I really love is how easily it transitions into fall. Style it with tall boots or booties, add an oversized jacket or even a blazer. endless ways to wear it this season. I couldn’t choose just one color, and honestly, the colors are even more perfect for fall.
