The home finds I’m personally buying, using, and recommending during Prime Day
Prime Day can feel overwhelming. There are thousands of products on sale, endless “must-have” lists, and plenty of purchases you’ll forget about a week later. That’s why I always focus on the items I genuinely own, use, and would recommend to a friend without hesitation.
This year’s list is a mix of practical home upgrades, everyday luxuries, and a few decor pieces that make a bigger impact than their price tag suggests. If you’re looking for a few worthwhile Prime Day deals, these are the five I’m most excited about.
smart plugs
Some of the best home upgrades aren’t the most glamorous.
I’ve been using these smart plugs throughout our home, and they make everyday routines so much easier. Lamps turn on automatically in the evenings, seasonal lighting can run on a schedule, and everything can be controlled right from your phone.
It’s one of those affordable purchases that quietly makes your home feel more functional and intentional.
buttery soft bamboo sheets
If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your bedding, Prime Day is the perfect time.
These bamboo sheets are incredibly soft, lightweight, and cooling, which makes them especially nice during the summer months. They have that luxurious hotel-bed feel while still being practical enough for everyday use.
Of all the home purchases you make, few impact your daily life more than better sleep.
the most realistic faux hydrangeas
You all know how much I love fresh flowers, but I also love having beautiful arrangements that last.
These faux hydrangeas are some of the most realistic I’ve found. The coloring, fullness, and natural look make them perfect for styling consoles, kitchen islands, dining tables, or built-ins.
They instantly make a space feel more polished and are one of my favorite decorating shortcuts.

faux camellia trees
This is one of those finds that looks much more expensive than it is.
I love using these faux camellia trees outdoors to add height, softness, and structure to a patio or backyard. They’re especially beautiful flanking a doorway, styling an outdoor seating area, or creating a natural divider between spaces.
If you’re looking to elevate an outdoor area without the maintenance of live plants, these are such a good option.

rechargeable motion sensor lights
This is my newest purchase, and I’m already wondering why I didn’t order them sooner.
These rechargeable motion sensor lights are perfect for hallways, stairs, closets, and darker corners of the house. The warm glow feels elevated, the brushed gold finish is beautiful, and they provide just enough light for nighttime without being harsh.
They’re one of those small upgrades that make your home feel both more functional and more thoughtful.

If you’re trying to shop Prime Day more intentionally, I always recommend focusing on pieces you’ll actually use long after the sale ends.
For me, that means products that make everyday life easier, help a home feel more beautiful, or solve a problem I’ve been meaning to address. These five finds do exactly that, which is why they’re the items I’m personally buying, using, and recommending this year.
Happy shopping!
